Devotional
Refund Policy
How the 30 day refund works, how to ask for one, and how to cancel.
Last updated: September 4, 2026
The 30 day refund
If you bought a Devotional subscription on this website, you can ask for a full refund within 30 days and we will refund you in full. You do not have to give a reason.
The 30 days start on the day of your first payment. Devotional subscriptions renew on their own until they are cancelled, so if a renewal was charged while you were still inside those 30 days, that payment is covered as well. A full refund means every payment you made in the 30 day window.
How to ask for a refund
Email support@getdevotional.app and tell us you would like a refund. Writing from the email address you used to buy is the fastest way for us to find your account. If you know the date and the amount of the charge, include those too.
There is no form to fill in and nothing else you need to do. Once we send the refund, your bank or card issuer decides how long it takes to show up on your statement.
If a charge on your statement looks unfamiliar, email us the date and the amount and we will look it up for you.
What a refund does to your account
A refund ends the subscription it paid for. Your premium access stops, and there are no further charges.
Your account itself stays, so you can still sign in and use the free parts of Devotional, and you can subscribe again later at whatever price is on offer then. To remove the account itself, see delete your account.
Cancelling without a refund
Cancelling and refunding are two different things. Cancelling stops the next payment and leaves you with the time you have already paid for. A refund returns your money and ends your access straight away.
To cancel a subscription you bought on this website, use the Manage or cancel subscription button on the screen shown right after your purchase. That opens your billing page, where you can cancel yourself. If you have closed that screen, email support@getdevotional.app and ask us to cancel it. Either way you can do this at any time. Your access then runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and the subscription does not renew after that.
Cancelling on its own does not return the payment you have already made. If you want that money back, ask for a refund within 30 days as described above.
Purchases made in the app
You can also subscribe inside the Devotional app itself. Those payments go to Apple or to Google, and only they can refund them. We never receive that money, so we are unable to refund it for you. Each store applies its own refund rules and its own time limits.
- For a purchase made on an iPhone or iPad, ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. You can also open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, to cancel.
- For a purchase made on an Android phone, ask Google through your Google Play order history. Subscriptions are cancelled in the Play Store under Subscriptions.
It is possible to have a subscription from this website and a separate one from an app store at the same time. If you are unsure which one you have, email support@getdevotional.app and we will tell you which is which.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. The refund you were promised at the moment you paid is the one that applies to your purchase.
